- Turn off the scooter
First thing to do before replacing the dashboard on your Xiaomi Scooter Essential is to power of the scooter.
- Remove the dashboard cover
With a lever or a thin object, detach the plastic cover that protects the electronic board of the dashboard.
- Unscrew
There are two little screws blocking the dashboard in its place. Remove them.
- Disconnect the four board cables
Under the dashboard you will find 3 rectangular connectors and a larger, round one.
Disconnect them all gently and carefully. - Install the new dashboard
Attach the connectors to the new dashboard and retighten the screws.
